GRAMMER AG specialises in the development and production of components and systems for passenger car interiors as well as driver and passenger seats for off-road commercial vehicles. The new corporate headquarters in Ursensollen – with more than 10,000 m² of office space – is the largest construction project of Grammer AG to date. With its forward-looking architecture, the highly innovative office complex, which is spread over four floors, is designed to promote close collaboration and open communication among employees. As far as possible, regional materials with a low energy footprint were used for the construction. These included the RUGX carpets from OBJECT CARPET – Made in Germany. These provide visual zoning of the workstations in the open-plan office. The 100 or so RUGX carpets of POODLE quality improve the room acoustics in terms of sound absorption coefficient and impact sound reduction. Free of bitumen and PVC and low in odour and emissions, POODLE also contributes to a healthy indoor climate.
